Description : Ollioules had up to four religious communities between the XVI and the late eighteenth century. The first to settle there were the brothers or Observantins Franciscans of strict observance of which the name of the friar is sometimes given to the convent. Sold as national property in 1792 it was converted into housing which is always the case (in part) today.
